Creating and reusing guides
Can I save my progress?
Yes. PetBrief saves drafts locally so you can leave the creation flow and continue later.
Do I need to start over for every trip?
No. Use a previous guide again, review changes, and choose which pet, household, and sensitive details should carry into the new trip.
How do I add a pet photo?
Choose a photo from the pet basics or profile area. PetBrief uses Apple’s system photo picker, so you decide which photo to provide.
Can I remove a pet or guide?
Yes. Delete individual guides or pet profiles from the app. Deleting a guide also removes its private local export archive where applicable.
PDF, sharing, and printing
Which PDF size should I use?
Mobile works well on a phone. A4 is suitable for many international printers, while Letter is common in the United States and Canada.
Why did the share or print screen close?
System sharing and printing are controlled by iOS. Try again, confirm that your chosen destination is available, and make sure the device has enough free storage.
Where is my saved PDF?
The location is the folder you selected in the iOS Files sheet. PetBrief cannot move or recall copies after you save or share them.
Why am I asked to confirm sensitive fields?
PetBrief confirms home-access information separately before generation, sharing, saving, printing, or resending so it is not included by accident.
Privacy and permissions
PetBrief works without an account or internet connection. Data is stored locally, and sensitive home-access fields are encrypted and excluded from output by default. Read the full Privacy Policy.
Storage and recovery
PetBrief does not provide cloud sync or a PetBrief account backup. If the app is removed, the device is erased, or local storage is damaged, data may not be recoverable. Keep important exported guides in a location you control.
If PetBrief cannot open saved data, close and reopen the app, confirm that the device has free storage, restart the iPhone, and try again. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting because deletion can remove local app data.
Delete all local data in Settings permanently removes PetBrief’s local records and keys. It does not delete copies already shared, printed, or saved outside the app.
